Something a little different today. I was interviewed by Crain's Business Chicago for the On The Clock feature. They seemed very surprised and interested that a church would have a podcast and produce a shortfilm every week. I guess maybe it is different; it just seems normal around here.
On The Clock is a once a week feature where they do a profile on a Chicago business leader. Usually it profiles a person with a career that is a little different than your average business person. Last week it was Jay Congdon who is President and one of the disc jockeys for Fourth Estate Audio. The week before that it was Edith Vosefski who is the founder and owner of The Etiquette School of Northern Illinois. So I'm not sure how you jump from DJ to manners to pastor, but they did. It should be published in the next couple weeks.
Dude, you are like getting almost famous or something! ;)
Ahh...I am going to be able to say "I knew you when.." (wait, you've actually been pretty cool all the years I've known you!)
Keep up the important work...I'll keep praying for you!

Dave, Dave, Dave, don't you see? CBC needed you to "tie it all together" with your social "grace" dinner conversation and best pick musical "worship". Now, you should really be confident that you can handle any and all up-coming Christmas events. Keep up the great job!!! :)

I think it was the pic of Tim and Jon that got him the interview. Hey if you can get the devil and an angel to come to service you can get anyone to listen. Talk about influential people!

I love that pic, still makes me laugh. I would do just about anything for a copy. Hat's off to our fearless leaders, one moment they are in full costume and the next they are ushers at the movies. A perfect example of serving. Happy Holiday :)
