In Greece To Meet With European Church Planters

This week I have the remarkable opportunity to provide training for the leading church planting churches and networks in Europe.  I left Chicago on Sunday after church and flew out of O'Hare with a quick stop in Rome and then on to Thessaloniki, Greece. 

This group is called the European Church Planting Network and was assembled by Leadership Network and funded by private donors.  There are two groups; one from western Europe and another from western Europe.  Each of these groups were given an advance copy of the manuscript from Jon and my book, Exponential:  How You And Your Friends Can Start A MIssional Church Movement and told to read it in preparation for our time together. 

I am staying at the Sani Resort.  I took this picture from my room with my blackberry.  I can't lie - this place is awesome!  Great weather.  Beautiful beaches and scenery.  Terrific service and food.  Between staying here and getting to talk about my favorite topic - it's hard to beat!

There is something to be said regarding the two bodies of water side by side. Kinda like "take your pick---which water would you like to be baptized in" ????
