BIG IDEA Short Film: Impossible Is Nothing - "How To Move Mountains"

We have been getting a phenomenal response from our current series Impossible Is Nothing.  We have been getting more e-mails and requests for people to pray with them than I can remember in a long time!  Check out this short film where Tim Sutherland talks about "How To Move Mountains".  This is a tough subject to explain why God does and does not move mountains...but Tim does a great job!

Every week at three of our Community Christian Church locations we use a "short film" as the teaching for that celebration service. This is not the same as the videocast, which is the video of the Saturday night teaching another video teaching product that we use at several locations.  The "short film" is a 20-25 minute teaching on the BIG IDEA by one of our Teaching Pastors that is on location.

BIG IDEA Short Film - Life Interrupted: Us

The BIG IDEA Short Film:  Life Interrupted - Us is now online and ready for your viewing.  I'm a little late in getting this to you - but this short film is getting the best reviews of any that we have done in the last few weeks.  This short film has Tim Sutherland teaching and was taped at a synagogue in Chicago. I still haven't watched the whole thing but I'm told that Tim has some funny moments inside the synagogue.  Take 20 minutes, check it out.

BIG IDEA Short Film: Life Interrupted - Shepherds

The BIG IDEA Short Film:  Life Interrupted -The Shepherds is now online and ready for your viewing.  This short film has me teaching and was taped at a farm about an hour west of Chicago.  The setting really reinforces the image of angels appearing to shepherds out in a field.  The closing scene is kinda cool because it is in a manger.  Take 20 minutes, check it out and maybe it will help you get focused for Christmas.

Narnia Eve

Tomorrow is the debut of the "Chronicles of Narnia:  The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe" in theatres everywhere.  We are paying for all Community Christian Church leaders and their families to go see it on the 17th as a "thank you" for all thier hard work.  But I'm pulling my two boys (Josh-12, Caleb-8) out of school at lunchtime tomorrow and heading over to AMC Cantera 30 for the 12:30 show so that we can watch it the day it comes out.  They are both so excited about the movie that they agreed to pay their own way (since we already had a freebie coming on 12/17). The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe is the only book (other than the Bible) that I have read to all three of my kids.  I'm pretty pumped too.  I'll give you my review tomorrow and I'd love to hear your thoughts on it also.
